TALAAYEB (NAP), an impressive winner of a Newmarket maiden in September, didn't reappear until the 1000 Guineas where she ran a tremendous race to finish fourth behind Winter. Her pedigree suggests she should be even better over this trip so should enhance the classic form and take this. The unexposed Smart Together came with a late run to snatch victory over a mile at Haydock while Fleur Forsyte showed her liking for this trip and a bit of cut in the ground at Salisbury. Sir Michael Stoute won this last year and though Ebbesbourne is taking a step-up in class after landing a York handicap she's the type to climb the ranks and can find a place on the podium.
