Verdict

BRIMHAM ROCKS arrives with a 6lb penalty for last week's easy victory on soft ground at Haydock but he's won on Tapeta and providing the going doesn't firm up too much he can complete a quick double. Bayston Hill is up 5lb for a comfortable victory at Bath though that was at a lower grade while Chelmsford winner King's Coinage finished runner-up from a 2lb lower mark at Nottingham and has more to do. Bartholomew J went up 8lb for landing a minor handicap at Yarmouth but very nearly defied the extra at Haydock and is running well enough to get into the action. King Of Scotland was having his first start on Turf when beating today's rival Star Maker on soft ground at Leicester and if handling the quicker surface would have to be considered.
