Taawajud is selected to make a successful handicap bow ahead of the likes of Robustian, Critic, and Hill Spirit, with Alfie Tupper one to note also. Having made a promising debut over seven furlongs here in April, Tawaajud was then sent off a warm order at Chester last month, and made no mistake. She looked a picture in the paddock that day, and will be even better on today's faster ground so looks all set to follow up. Robustian has been placed on both outings this year but on breeding will surely do better over 10 furlongs at least, while Critic has taken on good company but has topweight to contend with. Hill Spirit landed an ordinary maiden at Yarmouth and is another that will benefit from the return to this sort of trip. Alfie Tupper landed a few nice bets for connections when scoring on his debut at Warwick last August and has plenty of potential. He is worth looking at in the market again, but we return to Taawajud, who impressed us at Chester, as the answer, with a mark of 80 not at all harsh.
