Edaara gets the vote over Sandglass and Born Wild, with Acts of Grace perhaps best of the rest. Edaara has shown on all three starts to date there is a race to be won with her, and the Willie Haggas-trained filly looks poised to open her account now, as she holds a fitness edge over both her main rivals. The daughter of Pivotal was sent off favourite in a big-field Newmarket maiden on her return to the fray in April but found Illuminise too good. Although the latter has since been beaten, that was in a useful conditions event, and should not detract from the chance of Edaara here. The form of Sandglass's Newmarket debut second last autumn has worked out well, and being by Zafonic she will improve on the faster ground. The step up to 10 furlongs will also help and she looks the main danger to the selection along with Born Wild who will no doubt prove to be a lot better than her Wolverhampton bow indicates. Acts Of Grace did not get the best of luck in running on her recent Sandown introduction, and this half-sister to Invincible Spirit should also give a good account. However, we remain loyal to Edaara.
