Verdict
This could not be more difficult to work out and only a speculative selection is given to Min Asl Wafi, who is just preferred over Diala, Art Work and Honey Gold. The last named is related to several useful types and can make an impact once she knows what is required of her. Again, the lack of a recent winner sent out by David Loder dampens the enthusiasm for her and she may need more time. Art Work also fits the profile of a filly that will benefit from the experience and she will be seen to better effect when her connections have had the chance to gauge her abilities and step her up in trip. Diala looks the preferred runner from the Barry Hills yard and will be interesting to note in the betting. She may not want the ground to be too soft though and any rain will count against her. Therefore we take a chance with Min Asl Wafi, who is a half-sister to the high-class Zafeen, who did so well for the Mick Channon yard a couple of seasons ago. There are several others winner in her family at this sort of trip, so it is safe to assume that this daughter of Octagonal will be capable of putting in a bold show today.
