In depth

Verdict

Peter Chapple-Hyam does not mess about with his runners at this track and, as such, we expect a bold bid from Mon Forest. There are several dangers lurking amongst the rest, including the unexposed Mushajer, who really looks to be getting the hang of things now. He could still have a bit more to offer but the handicapper has taken no chances with him off a mark of 85 today. The Composer and Enforcer are others that have to be respected and are worth noting in the betting. The former has bags of scope for the coming season and is sure to come on for the run whatever happens. Enforcer stayed on well when he finished in front of the selection at Doncaster a fortnight ago. He has a live chance on these terms. However, he was no match for Moon Forest the last time they came into opposition at this course and, now that the Woodborough colt has the benefit of a run behind him, Chapple-Hyam's charge is expected to very hard to master today.
