Verdict
BUCKLAND was a major eye-catcher on debut and can land this opener from newcomer Saamidd. Brian Meehan's colt flew home for third spot at the track earlier in the month and with the longer trip and experience in his favour he looks bound to run well. Dressing Room is a half-brother to Group One winner Lord Shanakill, and along with Godolphin newcomer Saamidd looks a likely debutant. Brandy Alexander was unfancied on debut and didn't show too much, but Richard Hughes now gets the leg up and the longer trip should be in his favour. Musawama looks likely to need further, so is reluctantly taken on along with Pivot Bridge, a half-brother to 1000 Guineas winner Speciosa, and also potential improver Yair Hill who would love any rain.
