Canwinn, Noble Jack and Sri Putra look the trio to focus on here with Canwinn taken to step up on a promising debut. Noble Jack shaped encouragingly on his debut at Goodwood, backed down to favouritism, doing all his best work at the finish to finish a close second. The value of the form is hard to weigh up but Richard Hannon's youngsters have carried all before them and he looks a threat. Sri Putra, a son of Oasis Dream, was an expensive purchase at 240,000 guineas and comes from a classy family. Trained by Michael Jarvis, who has yet to get off the mark with his four juvenile runners, he is respected and the market will be a good indicator as to his chances on his debut. Canwinn is from a sprinting family and ran well on debut to be a close third behind two useful types at Haydock. The form has taken a knock with the fourth home unable to justify favouritism at Doncaster on Saturday but Canwinn showed good pace and can be expected to come on for the run. Canwinn should be able to live up to his name here.
