Verdict
Sunshine Kid, Ajhar and Bajan Pride are the three to consider here and preference is for Sunshine Kid. Bajan Pride is one of two Richard Hannon runners in the race and stepped up on a moderate debut run at Goodwodd when finishing a close third at Salisbury last time. That was a significant improvement and having been nibbled at in the ring, may be capable of showing further improvement here. Ajhar has finished second twice and was disappointing when sent off an odds on favourite last time at Haydock. This son of Diesis is well related to a number of winners at trips of ten furlongs and more and can be seen to better effect at this more galloping track than at Haydock last time. John Gosden's Sunshine Kid looks a potentially top class performer. Out of a top mare at this distance in the States, Sunshine Kid showed immense promise on his debut in a big Newmarket maiden field, staying on well to be a close second. He looks a sure fire winner and this looks a good place for Sunshine Kid to open his account.
