Cinquante Cinq is the selection here ahead of Shadow The Wind and Confucius Classic. Cinquante Cinq showed promise on her debut last time over course and distance in a race that has worked out pretty well so, with even normal improvement, she should go well tonight. Shadow The Wind shaped with plenty of promise when third on his Newmarket debut behind Transcend, looking as though the drop to six furlongs today might even help things along, and he too looks to be a leading player in this contest. Conbextra improved from run one to two last time and could have even better to come, while Confucius Classic, a 38,000 euros gelded son of Danehill Dancer, and, a daughter of Pivotal, Le Riche, look interesting among the newcomers. Finally, Land Ahoy has shown some promise, while Silca Elegance, who cost 125,000 guineas, seemed to show some improvement last time, although further progress is necessary if he is to win tonight, and Tumbelini has at least shown some racecourse promise. Overall, though, the selection is Cinquante Cinq.
