Majehar, Sawwaah and Royal Flynn form the shortlist in a competitive lady riders' handicap to open the card and we will side with Sawwaah to lead them home. The selection is a course and distance winner and he arrives here in good form after an impressive success at Brighton last time when he beat Makai. He has already won four races this year and he should be up to defying a 6lbs penalty here. Majehar ran well in a handicap at Southwell over 1m last time when finishing third behind Future's Dream. He sees out this trip, although only just, and he has yet to win on the turf so he looks worth taking on. Royal Flynn certainly has the ability to get competitive here and if the forecast rain arrives then that would certainly boost his claims. Scottish River goes well for a lady rider and this course and distance winner could represent some each-way value, but for the winner we will stick with Sawwaah.
