Not a lot of form to go on so without reference to the market, TAMAATHUL gets our verdict with Lunar Victory and Dancing David best of those to have faced the starter. The son of Tiger Hill holds an entry in The Derby but with plenty of French winners over similar trips in the pedigree; we are confident that he can do himself justice today. Lunar Victory is related to a number of solid American middle distance performers. He will have learnt plenty from a previous visit to Newbury. Dancing David can be anticipated to have come on for his debut at Salisbury; especially as it was made in a Novice stakes rather than a standard maiden. Alfonso The Wise is a half-brother to Heron Island so may well need a little more time before we see the best of him. London Stripe holds an entry in the Irish Derby. His dam stayed 1m2f and is out of smart sprinter, Hamas. Goldtrek does not hold any fancy entries though Roger Charlton's horses are in much better form than what they once were. Tenesee is a half-brother to seven furlong specialist, Hazytoo, and could literally be anything. A race for videos rather than heavy wagers but Tamaathul looks the ticket on breeding.
