Colliers Court made all when successful at Uttoxeter last month and has to be respected following that effort but an 8lb rise for that neck victory looks harsh and a better bet seems to be the in-form GOOD OLD DAYS, who can complete a hat-trick with Red Birr rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown much improved form since being dropped in distance, winning comfortably in races at Hereford and Fontwell and, although raised 12lbs for his latest success, Kim Bailey's gelding won with plenty in hand and can win again. Patrick Griffin's Clarricien has yet to trouble the judge from admittedly limited opportunities over hurdles and fences and is probably best watched. Zorro De La Vega has been running to a consistent level of form and has to be considered but the six-year-old may just be a shade high in the weights now after his win at Hereford. Paul Webber's Red Birr made an encouraging debut over fences here in August on his most recent start and has to be respected but preference is for Good Old Days, who is taken to win again.
