Bumper winner Robelli finished second at Warwick on his hurdling debut but didn’t really improve on that when upped in grade at Kempton. A winner over 2m here in December, Peking Rose was runner-up in Listed company at Exeter subsequently but this looks a good opportunity for GELINO BELLO to pick up the winning thread again as he beat several subsequent winners at Aintree in October and has been very highly tried since with a recent fourth in a valuable handicap at Kempton continuing an upward trend. The two Henderson runners, Commodore Miller and Rudy Caprice, may be best of the rest though newcomer Richmond Hill is a full brother to one winner and a half-brother to two others.
