Verdict

LIFETIME LEGEND was clear and appeared to be travelling best when falling two out at Doncaster. He would definitely have finished ahead of eventual fourth Vazir had he stood up and compensation awaits here with a clear round. Despite having already won in France, Icone D'aubrelle looked very green at Doncaster so did well to finish second and he makes more appeal than fellow French import In The Air, who is also penalised. Mamluk is another to have made the trip across the Channel but he is making his hurdling debut.
