Verdict

Golden Spice scored over track and trip on her handicap debut and further progress is expected despite a 3lb rise. Both Damascus Finish and King Of War ran below par on their handicap bows and the latter is fitted with a combination of headgear for this while Giewont will be sharper for a comeback run here earlier in the week. LORD VADER improves with every start and having been beaten a length over today’s trip at Kempton last month, John Ryan’s colt looks likely to figure in the finish once again now handicapping.
