This maiden looks to lie between the two Khalid Abdulla owned runners and preference is just for the Henry Cecil trained HEART OF HEARTS over the Sir Michael Stoute charge ofMascarene while Old Hundred looks the best of the rest. The pick has shown mild progression in two runs so far and although the form from her last run could be stronger she just about sets the standard. Mascarene ran a promising debut and as you'd expect is bred to show us more this time. The lines coming out of that debut run at Warwick has some strength to it so she should be close. Old Hundred stepped up markedly from her opening gambit when staying on to place at Doncaster. There's no reason to suggest she won't improve again but she'll need to in order to win this. Juwireya is a useful benchmark already rated at 71 but her first time blinkers will need to bring about an improved effort for her to win and Baltimore Clipper is another for the list on the pick of her form but she is looking exposed in this company. This looks a tricky puzzle to solve but Heart Of Hearts seems to set the standard.
