MADE IN TAIPAN hasn't won since landing a Grade 2 novices' event here two years ago but finished runner-up to Glencove Marina in this a year ago and a fine run over timber at Leopardstown should have primed him to go one better. Willie Mullins trained last year's winner and will be hopeful of a big run from Jayo but he's gone almost as long without winning and has been a little disappointing. The performance of Montan earlier in the day will point to the chance of Saludos, who beat him over two miles here last month. Jessica Harrington's novice is progressing nicely and wouldn't have to improve too much to take a hand. See U Bob has plenty of ability as shown when beating Kempes at Thurles last January and though falling twice in his last four starts over fences he'd be a real threat with a clear round.
