Bryan Cooper has been making a name for himself this season and steered O Fortuna to victory over a big field of maidens at Punchestown last month. He should go well on this better ground but the concession of 8lb to ALWAYSTHEOPTIMIST may prove too much for him. The eight-year-old was having only his eighth start over timber when comfortably accounting for a strong field in a Punchestown handicap early last month and though beaten by Whatsabillion at Thurles later it was another very good performance. Grove Dale looks a big threat if able to repeat his latest run behind Cantrell in a huge field at Naas. Paul Rothwell's charge is on the upgrade and at the right end of the handicap. Our Nana Rose has completely lost her form but is tried in blinkers for the first time and is just the type to go well for the excellent Danny Mullins.
