Waveband had her better fancied stablemate and today's rival Hitchens behind when winning a similar event here a month ago. She made all on that occasion and looks likely to make another bold bid today but the runner-up ANNE OF KIEV is taken to turn the tables. Jeremy Gask's progressive filly was unable to sit just off the pace from her inside draw last time but should take up her preferred position here and that could make the all difference. Five Star Junior has something to find with the aforementioned duo, while Star Rover was beaten by the latter last month but had Secret Asset behind when fourth at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago. Silaah has been racing at Meydan will need to rediscover his best if he's to figure.
