Connections of Arbiter appear to be having problems finding his best trip as his two most recent runs have been over 1m3f and 7f. He ran easily his best race to date over the lesser distance last time and this could prove ideal. After two excellent runs, Eighteen Summers was fancied for a maiden over 1m2f here earlier this month but ran poorly and potential punters will need to forgive that effort. After easily beating Waydownsouth over 1m2f at Clonmel, MAC TIERNAN didn't enjoy being stepped up in trip at Dundalk subsequently and should prove that running all wrong and be difficult to beat. Lily's Star landed a Bellewstown handicap on good ground before finding the going too firm a few days later at Galway.
