Pat Flynn has worked wonders with Waydownsouth, who is still on the upgrade and has won three of his last four including at the Curragh last time. He's now a massive 30lbs higher since his winning streak began and the handicapper may just have hold of him. PURPLE LAND, who finished third in that race at the Curragh, is 4lbs better off which under normal circumstances wouldn't be enough but he lost all chance at the start and should reverse the form and be good enough for this. A big threat may come from the lightly-raced West Coast Dream, who was having his first start for over a year when a very close fifth behind Boynagh Joy in a huge field at the Curragh last week. Andy Oliver's charge will have come on for that and will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Astrakham is another lightly-raced type with potential and should go well with Leigh Roche's claim a big aid to his chances.
