The veteran Shake The Bucket managed to win his 10th all-weather race a fortnight ago and is still on a very lowly mark with his rider's claim taken into account. Linger changed stables and made a successful debut for new connections over 1m6f at Gowran but has a 13lb rise to overcome. Alcander is 1-24 and rarely runs away from Dundalk but winning hurdler MOUNTAIN FOX ran very well when chasing home Walkabout over a trip too short at Limerick and can go one better. Machiavelli has never won but will enjoy the fast ground more than most.
