North Wind followed his course and distance victory with a moderate effort at Navan though that was over the minimum and he couldn't go the pace. RECON MISSION beat Lord Rapscallion easily at Fairyhouse then finished runner-up over slightly shorter in a Navan Listed contest where he was battling on. He can improve again and take this though there are numerous dangers including Yolo Again, who landed a nursery over the minimum here before attempting the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket where he wasn't disgraced. Dragons Call had been running well before tackling a Navan nursery where he won from out of the handicap and he has a chance along with Chestnut Express, who has improved with every run and beat a big field of maidens in good style here last month.
