SAN ANDREAS looked in need of experience when fourth behind Smart Flies over 7f here earlier this month where he was up with the pace throughout and should have come on enough to take this. His stable companion The Corporal hasn't shown much in his two starts and will need to do much better as will another Ballydoyle inmate Ferretti but the well-connected Dark Endeavour made a decent start on this track last month and further progress is virtually guaranteed. The remainder with experience have shown little so one of the newcomers may prove more of a threat with Defilade looking one for the future as his dam is from a high-class staying family. Jim Bolger's Early Voice is bred for this sort of trip and is one to keep an eye on in the market.
