      Verdict

      Democracy and River Tiber were due to make their debuts over 6f at the Curragh last month but the latter was withdrawn when the ground turned heavy. The former was a convincing winner but the latter scored in spectacular style when unleashed on soft going at Navan and may prove best of the pair with Ryan Moore on board. TOURIST just failed to contain another Ballydoyle runner, Johannes Brahms, over 6f here after leading at this trip. He's receiving 3lb from the two winners and gets the nod. I Am Invictus went for 160,000gns at the Craven Breeze-up so must have shown plenty while Supersonic Man has a very speedy pedigree. Scorchio's dam has produced winning sprinters with her first five offspring so she's one to note for the future.
