Crockford didn't run well when strongly supported here last month but that didn't look his form. His stable companion COSMIC HORIZON ran in group company after landing a Roscommon maiden and looked in need of the run on his reappearance where he didn't get going until too late. He can take this, though Giga White looked a smart prospect when beating South Pacific on fast ground at Gowran in August and his stable has been in fine form so the lack of a run shouldn't be a problem. Ferretti has run here five times and never won though he's been fourth in two very strong handicaps on the track in recent weeks. Boston Bruin showed enough in his first season to suggest he would soon be off the mark and that was the case at Cork where he battled on well to land a maiden. He'll improve for that and should make a bold bid for a successful handicap debut.
