Verdict

SO PERFECT (NAP), placed in the Cheveley Park and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint, tackled 7f for the first time in the Fred Darling at Newbury and didn't quite get home, beaten just a head into third. This is her trip and her allowance is a bonus. Stable companion The Irish Rover couldn't get to today's rival Inverleigh in a Listed contest over the extended 5f here three weeks ago and there looks very little between them again. Western Frontier, another Ballydoyle representative, progressed nicely last season and didn't look suited by 7f on his reappearance at Cork.
