Cape Vale was having his first start for new connections when fourth at the Curragh last month but is looking a few pounds high in the weights at present. PARTNER is a couple of pounds out of the handicap and is shooting up the weights but he's progressing nicely and was possibly unlucky on his return at Dundalk a fortnight ago. Royal Intruder was expertly placed to win four times last season and though he's on a high enough mark now he will have benefited from last month's run at Wolverhampton and may not have finished winning yet. Dash Back was in good form at the end of last year at Wolverhampton but is probably better over an extra furlong.
