In depth

Verdict

Cheers Buddy ran quite well on his debut behind Snow Mountain at Limerick but struggled when stepped up in grade at the Curragh and was a long way behind Sydney Harbour. Bintan is bred for this trip being a son of Acclamation but it's impossible to get away from the chances of the Ballydoyle pair RUDOLF VALENTINO and Sherwood Forest with preference for the former. The son of Oasis Dream is out of a mare who scored over 1m2f and though not showing much on his debut behind Longhunter at Leopardstown he looked in need of the experience and will have come on a great deal. Sherwood Forest is related to eight winners and out of a mare who landed a Grade 3 over 1m2f so it would be no great shock if he were to turn out the better of the pair.
