Verdict

Fishlake Flyer had little chance in the competitive Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury last time but holds solid claims in this lesser grade and should be too good for her three rivals with Dolce Piccata probably the pick of them. The selection went into the Newbury contest having found one too good in each of her three previous starts and, despite showing signs of temperament, should have too much class here. A reproduction of earlier form should suffice. Dolce Piccata finished ahead of the selection at Newbury but her earlier form does not match that of James Given's filly and she may have to settle for silver. Baron Rhodes and Champagne Cracker make limited appeal on what they have shown so far in a race that should go to Fishlake Flyer.
