The weights favour Woodwee to get the better of One Trick Pony, while Snake Skin and Eskimo Nell are others capable of getting involved in this company. Eskimo Nell will appreciate what give there is in the ground and she arrives here with an improving profile. However, she does have a little to find with Snake Skin from their encounter at Carlisle and it be no surprise to see Kevin Ryan's charge uphold the form. The daughter of Golden Snake showed a good level of improvement last time out and is in the right hands to find a race at some point. However, she may be better over further and others may be a little more wily for her at this stage. One Trick Pony also poses a big threat, as he has already paid his way this term. He drops back to the minimum trip today and should make another bold bid. However, Woodwee is 8lb better off for a half-length beating from the last time they met and has plenty in his favour in trying to reverse the form. The likelihood of more attractive odds also sways us towards the son of Woodborough, who gets a tentative vote this time around.
