        Verdict

        HONG KONG ISLAND dotted up in a seller here last month and can return to winning ways against this opposition. Although the form from his third to Chookie Hamilton hasn't exactly worked out with the runners who have subsequently run, he holds plenty of these, although Oddsmaker has beaten our pick before and could get involved again. Ballade De La Mer put in a couple of good efforts over the summer but must return to something approaching that form to get involved, although the suspicion is the ground may be a touch on the soft side for her. Dual purpose runner Zed Candy has a chance as does Mohawk Ridge on the pick of his form, but it's Hong Kong Island with the marginal nomination.
