Miss Daawe won from a 1lb lower mark at Beverley in July but has shown little since then and Cross Of Lorraine needs to return to the form that saw him record back-to-back wins in the same month to hold any sort of claims here. Monsieur Harvey tends to ride up with the pace but often runs out of juice towards the finish so is hard to back with any confidence. The run of Avertuoso in the first may provide a guide to the chances of Attrition in this race as the first named beat the latter by just over four lengths at Catterick when they were last seen together. Mansii doesn't strike often enough to side with as he has only taken the top honours once from twenty-eight runs. Foreign Rhythm may find it difficult to follow up under penalty after success at Newcastle on very testing ground, but has to be respected. Sands Of Dee will look to turn the tables with FASHION ICON as they were separated by just a short head at Catterick when they last raced together. However we take David O'Meara's filly to confirm the placings and win again today. With the yard in good form and off just 4lb higher she can score.
