Ones to consider here are My Best Secret, Agent Lois and, maybe, Bonnie Rock, but the vote goes to My Best Secret. My Best Secret was third to Lennon on his bumper debut and, although beaten 20 lengths, meets nothing of that calibre here and ought to go well. The main danger might prove to be Agent Lois, who showed decent promise in an Irish bumper won by the well-regarded Crackin Liss last time and, given that this is a modest event overall, should go well. Bonnie Rock showed promise in her first two bumper runs but disappointed last time, but holds place claims, while Boxclever has shown some promise and is likely to keep on improving with age. Duke Of Stradone is from a good family and showed some promise in one Irish bumper run, while Flamethrower, who cost 18,500 guineas is from the same family as, amongst others, the high-class chaser Flashing Steel, and is among those to watch with future interest. Grand Daum also has something to like on breeding, and give a cursory glance in the betting regarding The Bay Bogle, while Tory Island is certainly bred for the jumping game, and again the market will be the best guide. Overall, though, the selection is My Best Secret.
