Touch of Ivory gets a tentative vote over Mystified, with Dispol Shabama and First Byte also seen as potential dangers. Tony Hamilton has done well for Richard Fahey in the absence of Paul Hanagan, and can ride another winner for the stable in Touch of Ivory who takes a drop in class after finishing down the field in a decent nursery at York last time. The daughter of Rossini has been improving race-by-race and in this selling grade for the first time, she must surely make her presence felt despite a wide draw. The fact that she is in stall 10 puts us off making her a good thing, but she can prove too strong for her rivals. Mystified has failed to progress since a promising Redcar debut but is another that takes a drop in grade and has the best of the draw in stall one. He would probably prefer another furlong but can give the selection most to do. Dispol Shabama was successful in this company at Catterick in July and did not cope with the drop back to six furlongs in a nursery at the North Yorkshire track last time. She is another that can figure, but we shall stay loyal to Touch of Ivory in a race that should not take much winning.
