Passion Fruit made a successful return at Carlisle last week and is taken to follow up under a six pound penalty here. Miskina and Garnock Venture both seem better on sand, and while Sping Dancer could be fancied on her two-year-old form, she failed to fire last year and is best watched for now. One with decent claims is Kalani Star, who has finished second on her last two starts and races off a three pounds higher mark than when chasing home Cayman Breeze at Brighton last time. The Old Soldier is another to consider, having followed a win in Banded company at Carlisle with a respectable third at the same course in a similar race to this. But we just prefer Passion Fruit, who ended last season with a win at Ayr and came back with a vengeance last week when beating Quantica by three lengths, with The Old Soldier in third. A six pound penalty should not be enough to stop her, and she is fancied to land the hat trick here.
