    Verdict

This is a very weak handicap, but we know that a high number is a big draw advantage over this trip, so we narrow the shortlist down to Spanish Law, Outrageous Flirt and the selection, Singhalongtasveer. Spanish Law and Outrageous Flirt both scored on the same Banded Stakes card at Carlisle last month, the former over this trip and the latter over seven furlongs. This race is little better than those, so the both have to be considered here with good looking draws. Toss The Caber won a selling handicap at Thirsk for Mick Channon and has now joined Keith Reveley. He should go well, but for our selection we'll take a chance with Singhalongtasveer. Beaten very narrowly in a couple of sellers at Hamilton and Beverley in early May, he raced a little too freely in a first time visor at Redcar last time. The drop back in trip should suit Singhalongtasveer, and with the booking of Paul Hanagan catching the eye, he gets our tentative vote.
