Nothing leaps off the page but DAR ES SALAAM faces easier rivals than his race here last time and he can see off Montauk Highway, Le Platino and Quincy Des Pictons. Jimmy Moffatt's son of King's Best was outclassed here earlier in the month behind some classy novices, however back in handicap grade he looks competitive off a mark of 101. This ground suits and a bold bid is expected. Red Dynamite and Le Platino make their chasing debuts and each looks a contender if jumping proficiently, whilst Paul Murphy employs father Ferdy's jockey Graham Lee on Quincy Des Pictons this afternoon. He has some interesting pieces of form and this jockey has won on him up in Scotland before. Chapel Flowers is consistent but he has paid with the handicapper as a result, so a bigger threat may be Silver Dollars. Timmy Murphy takes over in the saddle on a horse who looks well-handicapped, ran well in defeat last time out, and whose trainer makes a rare foray up into Scotland; interesting. Strobe needs to improve, Art Bank is miles out of the handicap, whilst Ormus is a course winner who needs to fare better now stepped up in trip. The last horse to mention is Montauk Highway. Richard McGrath looks an intriguing jockey booking on this Irish raider and despite a 16lb higher mark now coming across the Irish Sea he is feared. An open heat, but Dar Es Salaam can return to winning ways.
