Mystic Man, Game Lad and Pure Imagination are three against the field in a wide open handicap and the vote is given to Mystic Man. The selection was an unlucky-in-running third behind Rafferty last time out off this mark. This softer surface looks sure to suit and from a good draw under his optimum conditions he looks the one to be on. Game Lad rates the main danger on his latest third behind Rio Riva but that was over a longer trip and the drop in distance has to be of concern. Pure Imagination is another that could go well as he won with a little in hand when beating Three Wrens last time out. However this looks much more competitive and he looks opposable under his penalty. Kirkby's Treasure is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Royal Challenge is from a yard in form and could go well at a price under conditions that suit but he looks weighted up to his best while Master Robbie has the ability to go close but does not use it often enough. We will therefore return to Mystic Man as our idea of the winner.
