Secret Night narrowly is preferred to Figjam and Triskaidekaphobia. Mick Channon's representative ran a solid reappearance effort and should be cherry ripe for this race. Invariably held up off the pace in the early stages -she can stay on well to pick up the pieces. Figjam is officially the best horse in the race. A six furlong specialist - five furlongs should be no problem as he is capable of making the pace. Triskaidekaphobia ran well in the earlier part of the season. His form has somewhat tapered off in recent weeks but at least the handicapper is giving him some respite this afternoon. Stable companion, City For Conquest narrowly failed over five furlongs at Beverley. That was with first time blinkers. A visor is tried today. Sofinella does not have any great size about her but there is little to question about her attitude. The form of her most recent victory was let down spectacularly by the second's modest run last weekend. Multiple reared at the start last time and this run is best forgotten. She is another who can be expected to be prominent at an early juncture. Scooby Dude is perhaps best of the rest. Secret Night looks the pick of these and we select him accordingly.
