Neither Shimba Hills nor Flora Medici have looked like winning so far but both are expected to appreciate today's extra distance. Keith Dalgleish has trained the last two winners of this so Porthos Du Vallon is worth a second glance along with New Street, a brother to a couple of smart winners. But it's fellow newcomer SOMEWHAT that takes the eye in this. A half-brother to a host of winners including the useful Art Deco, Mark Johnston's colt has entries in both the Phoenix and National Stakes, Group 1 races, later in the season and may well be up to making a winning debut.
