Twice a winner on the Polytrack last year, MUSHAAKIS found only one too good at Beverley last time and looks set for a return to winning ways in this company. War Lord could prove the biggest threat as the soft ground was against him when disappointing at Thirsk last time having won at the same track before that. Manchestar's earlier second at Beverley entitles him to consideration on his handicap debut but Shearian's win at Ripon came in a seller and this is tougher. Lucy Bee has plenty to find with the selection on recent running but should have come on for her seasonal debut.
