Verdict
PERENNIAL hasn't won since 2013 but has dropped to a lowly rating as a consequence and showed a bit more over slightly shorter here earlier this month. This is a moderate contest and he can return to winning ways. Suprise Vendor scored over 2m2f at Pontefract last month but hasn't run well in two subsequent starts including over hurdles. Urban Kode is better over hurdles these days but the veteran Hunters Belt has been operating at a higher level over timber and scored over 2m4f at Kelso in March.
