Sadie's Star is the tentative choice in very tricky finale, Haenertsburg and Midnight In Moscow are two others that catch the eye. The Michael Dodd's trained filly ran well for a long way when fifth behind Patxaran at Hamilton last time. That was over a longer trip and she will be much better suited by today's distance. Haenertsburg should also be suited by this return to seven furlongs and should be capable of going close in this company. Pat Haslam always has to be respected in this type of event and he runs Midnight In Moscow. This well bred gelding was well beaten by some decent sorts last season, but may have found his level here and looks one of the more likely winners. Milton Bradley's Dominer may prove best of the remainder, but Sadie's Star represents a stable in good form and is our sporting selection.
