This is a very competitive banded race and we like the look of Roman The Park, with Montara and Magic Verse put forward as the main rivals. Tim Easterby's filly doesn't win very often but looked to be coming back to her best last time when a close up sixth behind today's rival Air Of Esteem. There should be no problem reversing form with that rival on ten pounds better terms and he should go very close to winning at a decent price. Montara has regressed since his days in Ireland when running off marks in the 70's, however he is still a decent enough performer at this level as he proved when winning at Wolverhampton recently. Magic Verse comes into the reckoning on his easy victory at Brighton in October and will be hard to keep out of the frame. Cornish Gold looks best of the others, but Roman The Park appears on the way back and gets the verdict.
