        Verdict

        Brenin Gwalia barely stays this trip but is a more solid option than Violet's Pride and Early Promise. The tactics on David Simcock's charge will be to jump, run and hope that he gets home infront. Violet's Pride is not short of early pace but is unproven on this surface and might struggle on pedigree. Early Promise ran solidly at Wolverhampton behind Non Compliance to plug on for a distant second. This effort was followed by a disappointing run earlier in the week at Lingfield Park. Bungie put up an improved effort on soft ground on his latest start and the grey has obvious claims in a weak race. Silly Gilly is tried in blinkers after a couple of disappointing runs. Telling has obvious claims if improving for a recent outing at Pontefract. Brenin Gwalia will be short odds but looks difficult to oppose.
