Plenty of course and distance winners in this handicap field but we side with a mare who hasn¿t tasted that success in MISS DAWE ahead of Angelofthenorth and Princess Charlmane. An infrequent winner the selection takes a step down in class after finding just one too good last time. It's fair to say she is not the most consistent but while she is showing some kind of form we feel it is best to give her the chance to build on that run off a fair looking mark. Angelofthenorth has taken two of her four career victories at this venue and again ran well here last time when second best. Her mark has be adversely effected by just a pound which keeps her on the competitive side of matters. Princess Charlmane has held her form well since scoring her only success four starts ago and could get involved again while Rocketball loves it here and needs to be considered again. It's not the best race in terms of quality but it's at least competitive and Miss Dawe looks marginally the best call.
