After looking potentially smart on his debut FALASTEEN is taken to make it two wins from two but could be challenged by the on-form Singeur and Monalini should also have more to offer in this conditions race. Despite dwelling at the start the selection ran out an easy winner of a decent enough looking York maiden last time and despite the drying ground perhaps not looking ideal his top sprinting pedigree suggests there is plenty more to come. Singeur has scored on his last three starts the latest of which was a decent looking nursery when well in front of a subsequent winner. Versatile as far as the ground is concerned he looks a strong challenger in his toughest test so far. Monalini was a winner on debut which came over course and distance. The form has worked out nicely from that run so with the usual improvement expected he is very much in the mix. Raddy 'Ell Pauline is given a chance on the ratings also but after promising so much first time out Falasteen is our idea of the winner.
