CORSICA is looking very progressive and with his yard in form we think he can land a five-timer by taking this valuable handicap at the expense of Spanish Duke and Gomrath. A winner of a listed race last time the selection returns to these ranks off a career high mark. He was a very easy winner the last time he was in this company and with Mark Johnston in the midst of a purple patch he can go in again. Spanish Duke was a comfortable winner on his last start and while he should stay this far he is up in class with 5lbs extra to carry. Gomrath was a well held third of eight in a similar standard of contest on his last run but should go well again from 1lb better off. Zuider Zee has improved in a couple of handicap efforts and should kick on again after a victory last time but while on this form Corsica is hard to ignore.
